what up???????

The first and foremost college I would like to apply and get in would be the Air Force Academy because I have always liked them because my dad used to be in the Air Force. I would apply to all of the military academies but this would be the first one on my list. I would like to go to this academy because since it’s funded by the government they have a lot of money to spend and since they have a lot of money they have the top equipment and campus. Also there is a decent athletic program there so that is another plus. But lastly I would like to go there because while you are in there as a cadet, you get paid a cadet wage, which is $864 a month. And once you are done with the academy you are automatically an officer in the Air Force.

 OSU is another choice because right now I don’t think the the Air Force is good right now with my grades, but I’m working on it. Hopefully I get a really good grade for the end of the trimester. But this school is mainly a backup school and primary right now because of my grades. I want to go here to because they also have a really good baseball program that has won the college world series for tree straight times in a row. And the last reason I would go here is because it is a lot closer to home than the East Coast schools.

College desides your life so I would like to get into a good college. And that would say yes…..I am interested. I would major in aerospace engineering because I like to use my head in things and using common sense to figure things out. I would go to the Air Force Academy but I need to work harder to get in because my grades don’t meet their admissions standards. But my back up school would be OSU (Oregon State University) because there I could also play baseball with the best players. I would pick these schools because it’s alot closer to home than being on the east coast.

I think that Katherine is like a shrew. She acts like a shrew but as we get further into the book, Petruchio is taming her. But in the beginning of the book she has all the aspects of a shrew because of the way she acts and everything else.

In the book she acts like an aggressive shrew by hitting Petruchio in the head with a lute. She is also aggressive when Petruchio tries to woo her the first time they meet.

She is also like a shrew because she is always complaining about something. She always has to make a scene about everything just like shrews.

Lastly she looks like a shrew, because she is ugly. Shrews are ugly and so is she so she must be a shrew.

So Kate is like a shrew because of all these things. She is a complaining, hot tempered, non-patient, ugly shrew.

It was 30 degrees outside. Yet, there I stood waiting for my strawberry cheesecake chocolate dipped ice cream cone. Just as the ice cream guy handed me my cone the store door opened and Elvis Presley walked in. I couldn’t believe it since hes supposed to be dead and all that good stuff but there he was. So since I was curious I asked him how he came back to life, and he answered me with “I was never dead……the aliens dropped me off.” So I talked to him about what life is like now computers, faster cars, easy space flight, and everything modern. When I was done he bid me farewell and walked out. As I get up to walk out he is beamed up by a light and then is gone. I thought to myself ‘COOL’ and then I giggled for a little bit. I wasn’t going to tell anyone of what I saw because it would be my little secret.

I think that Shakespeare has good writing because he puts plays within plays and writes about feelings that every one has. Every one can relate to it because feelings are a universal language. And maybe people have the same situation that is written in the play and sometimes they feel special about it. I don’t know but I don’t really like his style of writting because our spoken language is very different from their language. But overall I like the messed up plots.

computer games are pretty fun. I usually play counter-strike now because maple story and kartrider are getting pretty boring. I sometimes play in Mrs. Simpson’s class……but she doesn’t know. Nah I only played 3 times for a sort while but the rest I was doing something else. But I only play at lunch sometimes and when I finish homework at home. But I’m trying to quit because I believe that I waste soooo much time on playing games.

The 1st drawing means that the part of the book that we read was just the beginning of the story, where new things are found. As people investigate new things they find new information about things that they found. And as they find new information about their subject they learn about it and then they continue to search about the subject. As they learn more they go deeper and then they get so far in they can’t go back.

I had someone in my life that made a bad impression on me because I know I’ve had someone in my life be a complete a** to me when that person didn’t know me. But when I talked to that person they didn’t realize what they did and then we moved on from that. Some people don’t realize what they do to other people so they apologize then they find out they did. But it has only happened a couple of times.

I think that Shakespeare is a good author because he writes stories about feelings that all humans have. He writes about experiences that can impact another person. I enjoy his works because its a tear jerk-er sometimes, that it has  good morals, and because it has messed up endings where both lovers die because they love the other person sooooo much and sacrifice themselves for the other person in a situation where they don’t have to give it up.

This activity showed me that Shakespeare is universal because music in today’s society was used in Shakespeare’s plays. It shows that no matter what race you are ever person can experiance any feeling. And Shakespeare did that in his plays.Shakespeare is used in many other things other than rap and music. People often quote him and use some of them to woo the opposite sex.
